Today FILOU Oostende announced the signing of Vrenz Bleijenbergh, who tried his luck this summer in the NBA Summer League. Vrenz Bleijenbergh had left the Telenet Giants Antwerp in 2021 after being elected Rising Star of the Year, to join the Spanish Liga, Real Betis of Seville. His dream has always been to play in the NBA, but it won’t be for this season (yet). He will continue his progression under the guidance of Dario Gjergja at the Belgian coast.
Filou Ostend, the reigning Belgian champion, had not yet made much of an impact on the transfer market, except in terms of departures, since most of the foreign executives will continue their careers elsewhere, such as MVP Levi Randolph, his sidekick Phil Booth or the 6th Man of the Year Mikael Jantunen.
