Spencer Levi first American at Yoast United

The first foreigner to join Yoast United has been found in 23-year-old Spencer Levi. Spencer comes over from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP) and recorded good numbers in the NCAA Division II.

Last season the center/forward averaged 15.6 points, 9 rebounds (including 4.4 offensive) and 2 blockshots per game. With his length of 2.03 meters and a weight of 100 kilograms, he brings a lot of inside power as a big.

Levi is looking forward to his first season as a professional at Yoast United: “I am really excited about my new basketball chapter. For the first time I will play overseas as a professional. The contact with Yoast United was very nice from the beginning and I am really looking forward to meeting the team, the coaching staff, the board and all the fans. I will do everything I can to help the team win as many games as possible and make the fans proud of our team!”

“Spencer Levi made a very good impression during his last season with the UNCP Braves,” coach Paul Vervaeck said of the first American. “I am convinced that the crowd in Bemmel is going to really enjoy this player. He is a strong player who uses his body well to rebound and dunk. It is clear that he is going to be important for our team in terms of scoring. Not only did he score 16 points per game, he did so at a 70% rate.”
