Heroes Den Bosch has its first new foreign reinforcement for the upcoming season. The Norwegian international Chris-Ebou Ndow makes the transfer from the Spanish CB Coruña, with which he played in the LEB Oro last season. With the Norwegian team, Ndow also fulfils the role of co-captain. In Den Bosch, the 1.98 metres long forward signs a contract for one season.

Ndow enjoyed his education at Frøya Basket (Norway), Oettinger Rockets Gotha (Germany) and at Northwest Missouri State University. After four seasons of college basketball, he signed with Kongberg Miners (NOR-1) in 2018. Via Denain Voltaire Basket (FRA-2) and Boulazac Basket Dordogne (FRA-2), he ended up at CB Coruña. Ndow averaged 9.29 points (45 FG%) and 4.47 rebounds per game over 17 games last season.

“With Chris-Ebou we got a player that fits our culture well,” head coach Erik Braal explains. “He is all-round, can defend well and is a team player who plays with a lot of energy.”

With a big smile on his face Chris-Ebou Ndow says: “I am really looking forward to this new challenge at Heroes Den Bosch. It’s another step that I’m taking in my career and that makes me proud. Moreover, with the BNXT League and the Basketball Champions League or FIBA Europe Cup, top games are guaranteed, so I can continue to develop myself. In addition, the plans of the coach were clear and appealing, so I did not have to think long about this step.”
