After 13 years at Belfius Mons-Hainaut, Justin Cage, 36, has decided to retire at the end of the 2021-2022 season. The club stresses that he “has been involved in the life of the club, both on and off the field, and has been an example of professionalism for everyone”.
Belfius Mons-Hainaut will pay tribute to him during the BNXT Playoffs match on 24 May at 8 p.m. against Feyenoord. Several events and animations are planned.
During his 13 years at Belfius Mons-Hainaut, Justin Cage has experienced several highlights in the history of the club, including winning the Belgian Cup and the SuperCup in 2011, as well as reaching several playoff finals in 2013, 2015, 2020 and 2021.
Prior to his 13 years with Belfius Mons-Hainaut, Justin Cage played his first season in Belgium at Liège Basket.
