With the arrival of Trey Diggs, Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord Basketball has completed its squad for next season. The 23-year-old American played the last three years for Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he stood out as a shooter.
The 1.98-meter tall Diggs averaged 9.5 points in 31 games during the 2021-2022 season, with a field goal percentage of 50%. The swingman also grabbed 4.6 rebounds per game for his college team.
“I’m really looking forward to starting my pro career,” said the Florida-born Diggs. “And I feel that Feyenoord Basketball is the best fit for me. I’ve only heard good things about the city of Rotterdam and our fans. I can’t wait to get started.”
Diggs is the third American in Toon van Helfteren’s team. Earlier, Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord Basketball signed guards Shavar Reynolds and Stacy Beckton. Ivo de Vreede and Croatian Marijan Obad are the other newcomers in Rotterdam. Jeroen van der List, Pieter Buijs, Terrence Bieshaar, Isai Sow and Philip Metz already played in the city of Rotterdam last season. Rotterdam have therefore already completed their squad well before the start of training.
