Point guard Charles Callison will play for Donar next season. The 27-year old Callison has signed a contract for one season. Callison is a 1.85 meter tall American.
At college in the NCAA, Callison played for the Washington State Cougars. His European adventure started in Scandinavia. Last season, he played in Ukraine with Odessa (16.8 points per game), but due to the cancellation of the league there, he left for the highest division in Germany with Würzburg. There he and the team still managed to have a good run.
Coach Matthew Otten is pleased with this point-guard. “Charles is a high level player who can help us on both ends of the court, defensively and offensively. His character and work ethic fit the Donar DNA exactly.”
Callison is looking forward to starting the season at Donar. “I know Donar is a great place to play and on top of that it is a very professional organisation. I’m looking forward to playing in Europe and in the BNXT League. Besides that, I really want to meet the fans.”
With Callison, the counter at Donar currently stands at nine players: Leon Williams, Sander Hollanders, Willem Brandwijk, Mark Roorda, Olaf Schaftenaar, Kjeld Zuidema, Clay Mounce, Ronalds Zakis and Charles Callison.
