Donar and Willem Brandwijk have signed a new agreement for two seasons. The power forward, who turns 27 next month, has become a fixture in the team the past two years.

With his ‘work hard and don’t nag’ mentality, Brandwijk has not only become popular with coaches and teammates, but also with Donar fans. His often spectacular actions also contribute to this.
Technical director Drago Pasalic: “We are very happy that we can continue working with Willem. He has played very professionally the past two years and has a great work ethic. I am convinced that Willem will help us achieve our goals and that Donar can help him get the best out of himself.”
Willem Brandwijk: “Donar is a fantastic club and in my opinion the most professional organisation in the Netherlands. It is a pleasure to play here. I have faith in the board and have high expectations for the developments next season. I have ‘unfinished business’ at Donar. I think I have shown last season what I can do, now it’s time to take the next step.”
Besides Leon Williams (ongoing contract), Willem Brandwijk is thus the second player who will also be seen in the Donar jersey next season.
